Springfield Public Schools Announce Increase in Graduation Rate, Decrease in Drop-out Rate

Superintendent of Schools Daniel Warwick and Mayor Domenic J. Sarno spoke at a press conference Thursday, January 21, 2016 to share exciting statistics from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's (DESE) release of statewide graduation and drop-out date. Springfield Public Schools are on the rise with a graduation rate increase of 10 percent since 2012, and a drop-out rate slashed in half in the same time period.
